Unforgettable journey to the dream isle

It is the Isle of Djerba and the famous region of Gellela Djerba where the main earthenware producing factories of the country and private craftsmen's shops are located. In these shops masters perform the art of production of strikingly beautiful ceramic vessels from clay of various colours - white, red and brown.

According the idea of organizers, at the end of the tournament each of the teams presents its variant of the set which should consist of not less than 30 items. Teams take their own decisions on how many items will be in a set, what items there will be (it can be either tea or dinner set), what kind of clay will be used, whether the items will be painted or not, covered with glaze or not. The panel of judges including heads of a company-client and professional potters and art specialists will take into account all the nuances: the complication of the idea, its originality, virtuosity of execution and quantity of items of a specific set.

Every team will work with potters-tutors who provide necessary consulting aid, show the technology and check the safety measures. Teams are to fulfill the whole cycle of production of earthen-ware: generating the art conception, choosing the clay, working at the potter's wheel, baking of items in a furnace, painting and covering with glaze.

Hand-made objects of a single exemplar that retain the warmth of master's hands are especially fashionable and prestigious now. After a kind of an art tournament a company-client becomes an owner of several unique sets one of which can be an object of honour in the central office of this company and a reminder of hospitable Tunisia and other sets can serve as precious and important gifts to companies-partners.

The ending of the tournament will be celebrated at the gala-dinner in the biggest Casino of all the North Africa - in a unique complex with excellent cuisine from the masters of the genre, a discotheque with quality sound and light and, naturally, with gamble halls.

This scenario can last from one to several days; it can be realized in any season. Djerba attracts tourists through all the year. Particularly pleasant is unique mild and healing climate of the island: in August (the hottest month) the temperature of the atmosphere is not more than 35 degrees. At the same time there is no cold weather here: the sun is giving its vivifying warmth through all the year. The average temperature in winter is 5-7 grades higher than on the continent; in serene days it can reach 25 degrees.

All the steps of this artistic tournament may be shot with digital camera. Organizers guarantee professional shooting and montage. Also, it is possible to make copies of DVD-disks in Tunisia according the quantity of participants of the tour.

Minimal quantity of participants is 50 persons; maximal one is not limited. Participants are to be divided into optimal number of teams, not more than 25 persons in a team.

The total price of each tour is calculated depending on the included options and on the quantity of participants.
